NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The Carleton College men's swimming & diving team hosted Gustavus Adolphus College for a dual meet on Friday. The Knights won six events but came out on the wrong end of a 185-115 tally.
It was Senior Night at Thorpe Pool, and prior to the competition, the Knights celebrated the five members of the Class of 2026:
Hans Anderson,
Nicholas Chang,
Will Clausman,
Jeffrey Kong, and
Charlie Ruppe.
Junior
Jackson Rankin was a double winner for the Knights, taking first place in both the 100-yard butterfly (52.61) and the 200-yard butterfly (1:57.36). Chang contributed a victory in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing with a time of 52.70. Rookie
Neil Tollefson was first to the wall in the 100-yard freestyle at 48.73,
In the diving events, Anderson swept both boards for Carleton. He recorded a score of 260.00 to win the 1-meter dive and a 294.55 to take the 3-meter title.
