NORTHFIELD, Minn. – In recognition of their work both in the pool and in the classroom, four members of the Carleton College men's swimming & diving program took home Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Senior

Aiden Johnson and
Jackson Rankin earned recognition for the second time, while junior
Warren Kozak garnered his first career award.
Schools could nominate up to four student-athletes that had at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average, were at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and either competed in 75 percent of the team's competitions OR finished in the top-eight at a conference championship meet OR participate in a national championship.
Anderson, a chemistry major, was once again the MIAC's Diver of the Year after winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions at the conference meet for the second straight season. He qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive year, finishing 22nd on the 3-meter board and 18th on the lower board. A two-time All-American, he will graduate as a four-time MIAC champion.
Johnson, a computer science major, finished eighth in the 200-yard butterfly at the 2026 MIAC Championships. He previously earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention in the event.
Rankin, an economics and mathematics double major, broke the school record en route to winning the MIAC crown in the 200-yard butterfly. He was also the conference runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly. He was the recipient of the conference's Elite 22 Award, which is presented to the student-athlete with the highest grade-point average (GPA) in each sport who meets similarly high, sport-specific athletic requirements. He is an eight-time All-MIAC honoree over his career.
Kozak, a computer science and mathematics double major, earned All-MIAC status in 2026 for both the 200-yard medley relay (3rd place) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (3rd place). He added four All-Conference Honorable Mention swims (100-yard butterfly [4th place], 200-yard butterfly [5th place], 400-yard freestyle relay [4th place], and 800-yard freestyle relay [4th place]).
Anderson and Rankin are among 81 student-athletes selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this month.
