INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP CAMPUS OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
Physics Department here at Carleton. I worked over the summer with Barry Costanzi, investigating small scale magnetic configurations. In an average day I'd design/build circuits, create samples using a special vacuum chamber device that I helped set up, as well as take measurements, write code to automate measurements, and write documentation of our process.

MY INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
As a math major at Carleton I spend a lot of time digesting theory, but this was a great way for me to get my hands dirty and get experience actually building things.

HOBBIES:
Cooking/Baking (I live in the culinary interest house)

PERSON(S) WHO HAD THE MOST INFLUENCE ON MY ATHLETIC CAREER:
The Team Captains my freshman year who made me feel welcome, and if it weren't for who I might not have kept swimming in college.
