Jackson Rankin sets school record (200 fly) as Knights take 2nd at MIAC Championships

MINNEAPOLIS – On the final day of competition at the 2024 MIAC Championships, the Carleton College men's swimming & diving team moved into second place. It was the Knights' best team finish since re-joining the MIAC in 1983.

Gustavus won the team title with 886 points. Carleton (649 points) leapt over Saint John's (635 points) on Saturday. St. Olaf (453) was fourth, followed by Macalester (423) and Hamline (37).

The Knights trailed Saint John's 431-428 entering the fourth day of the conference meet but leapfrogged the Johnnies after turning in seven swims worthy of some leavel of all-conference accolades.

Aaron Bronstone took seventh place with a time of 17:16.33, while Will Clausman claimed ninth place with a time of 17:29.67. Collin Eldridge added to the point total with 11th-place finish at 17:46.55.
