INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES DURING MY TIME AS A CARLETON STUDENT:
At the University of Chicago, I made programs to help with the lab. I also did some genomics research using the TWAS methods they created.
 
I worked as a Data Science and AI intern at a startup in Malaysia (GradientX). During my internship, I created customized chatbots for GradientX clients on Telegram, WhatsApp and on WordPress. I also helped with EDA with their clients - using DS libraries to help with inference. 
 
MY INTERNSHIP/EXTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE AS A CARLETON STUDENT-ATHLETE BECAUSE…
I learned more about bio and got good tech experience.
 
This experience really helped me gain insight as to how startups ran and I learned a lot about AI and ML which I was going to be taking a lot of courses on the next year.
