BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College senior Hannah Preisser was named the MIAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for Sept. 15-21. This is her second conference weekly award of the season and the ninth of her career, with six of those coming in cross country.
 
Preisser crossed the finish line at 22:03.2 to win the 6K women's race at the St. Olaf Invitational on Sept. 20. This was her second straight individual victory and the seventh of her collegiate cross country career. Preisser topped the 220-runner field and paced the nationally-ranked Knights to the team title.
 
Preisser and her teammates next race at the Blugold Invitational hosted by University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday, Oct. 3.
