BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College senior Hannah Preisser was named the MIAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for Sept. 8-14. This is her eighth career conference weekly award and fifth for cross country.
 
Preisser ran away with the individual title Hamline Invite on Sept. 12; it was her sixth collegiate individual victory. Making her season debut, she won by more than 25 seconds as the All-American crossed the line at 21:40.9. Preisser led No. 21-ranked Carleton to the team victory at the eight-team competition.
 
Preisser previously collected one MIAC Athlete of the Week honor for indoor track & field and two more for outdoor track & field.
 
The Knights next race on Saturday, Sept. 20 at the St. Olaf Invitational.
