NORTHFIELD, Minn. - Carleton College is saddened to announce the passing of former baseball coach William 'Bill' Nelson, age 73, who passed away at his home in Northfield on Saturday, April 19.
Nelson came to Carleton as the head baseball coach in 1994 and coached the team for 12 seasons. During that time the team won 102 games, the third most wins of any head coach in program history.
