Carleton Baseball collects MIAC-best 10th ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Carleton College baseball program earned the America Baseball Coaches Association's (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 10th time since 2016, the top total among MIAC squads.

Programs coached by ABCA members were honored with this year's award if they posted a combined team GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the entire school year. During the 2025-26 academic year, the Knights easily exceeded past that benchmark as they posted a 3.70 team grade-point average, the program's highest mark since the inception of the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2015-16 school year.

This past spring, there were 939 baseball programs across the three divisions of the NCAA (D-I, D-II, and D-III), and Carleton is 1 of only 51 schools to collect at least 10 ABCA academic awards.

Earlier this summer, 18 members of the Knights roster were named to the Academic All-MIAC list (min. 3.50 cumulative GPA).
