BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Carleton College baseball team had three players receive recognition as the conference coaches handed out their end of season honors. Seniors Sam Gossard and Will Schnepf were named to the All-MIAC squad, while classmate Ryan Chang received All-MIAC Honorable Mention.
 
Gossard, who was also on the All-MIAC First Team in 2024, becomes the 27th player in recorded team history to collect multiple all-conference honors. An injury in the season opener limited him to only 26 games, but Gossard still batted .307 with a team-high three home runs and a .500 slugging percentage. He returned a month after being injured and hit safely in 12 of his next 15 games. Gossard batted .354 in conference games with a team-best 1.011 OPS in those 20 contests.
 
Schnepf took home All-Conference recognition for the third consecutive season as he earned honorable mention in 2024 before being tabbed for the All-MIAC First team in both 2025 and 2026. This spring, he paced the Carleton regulars with a .359 batting average, 47 hits, nine doubles, and a .936 OPS, while his .519 slugging percentage and .417 on-base percentage were second on the squad. Schnepf hit safely in 28 of 37 games, including 16 multi-hit performances. He batted .377 in MIAC games with a .970 OPS.
 
He was 1 of only 6 infielders selected to the All-MIAC team but also made an impact for the Knights on the mound. Schnepf led the pitching staff with a 4.41 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and a .210 opponents' batting average, while his 9.64 strikeouts per-9 innings was tied for tops on the roster.

Chang earned his first All-MIAC honor of any kind after batting .325 overall and .375 in conference games. He hit safely in 27 of 34 games with an at bat, including 20 of 21 games from March 23-April 29. Chang also made five pitching appearances, going 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA over 10.0 innings of work.
