NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College men's track & field program won three events during the Carleton Relays. Competing in windy conditions, the Knights finished fourth out of 10 teams at the meet.
Alistair Pattison (So./St. Paul, Minn./Como Park) won the 400-meter hurdles with his personal-best time of 59.65. He also anchored the Knights' 4x400-meter relay that placed fourth at 3:31.60.
Ben Santos (Sr./Boulder, Colo./Boulder) cruised to victory in the 3000-meter steeplechase, crossing the line at 9:44.81, which was good for more than a 23-second margin of victory.
Owen Schuster (Sr./Batavia, Ill./Batavia) returned to the pole vault with his first meet in eight weeks and tied for first place after clearing 4.12 meters. That height matches his outdoor PR that was established at the 2021 Carleton Relays.
Jeremy Fong (Jr./Saitama, Japan/Christian Academy) and
Josh Meier (Fy./Fort Dodge, Iowa/Fort Dodge) finished second and fourth, respectively, in the 800-meter run. The former clocked a season-best time of 1:57.79, while the latter crossed the line at 1:58.67.

Noah Eckersley-Ray (Jr./Yarmouth, Maine/Yarmouth) finished fourth in the javelin with a distance of 46.57 meters.

Bridger Rives (Sr./Skiatook, Okla./Bishop Kelley) took fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.98.

Avery Watts (Jr./Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southeast) placed fifth in the 1500-meter run and set a new personal best of 4:12.25.
• The 4x100-meter relay took fifth place with a season-best time of 44.60.
