NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College men's track & field program took seventh place at the 2026 MIAC Outdoor Championships.
Gabe Nichols had the top performance for the Knights on Saturday, earning All-MIAC Honorable Mention in the 5,000-meter run.
Carleton totaled 54.5 points. Bethel University won its third consecutive team title with 202.5 points.
Nichols finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run with a season-best time of 14:55.15.
Travis Brown was 10th in a personal-best 15:21.22.
Dashiell Coyier (15:28.58),
Roy Llewellyn (15:33.7),
Simon Chambers-Trubatch (PR of 15:33.90), and
Martin Moshfeghi (15:43.45) crossed the line in 12th, 14th, 15th, and 19th places, respectively.
Jackson Reade equaled his personal best after clearing 1.85 meters in the high jump, placing seventh overall.
Lucas Heldman finished 11th at 1.72 meters.
Gus Schafer took ninth in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:03.40.
Carleton's entry in the 4x100-meter relay finished ninth as
Isaac Robertson,
James Alexander, Reade, and
Asher Nathan combined on a season-best time of 43.51.
Lucas Lenz took 14th in the triple jump after measuring a season-best 12.33 meters on his final attempt of the day.
The Knights finished seventh in the final event of the meet, the 4x400-meter relay as Roberston, Alexander,
Reed White, and Nathan combined on a time of 3:23.55.
Up Next for the Knights
Carleton may have student-athletes compete next week at last chance meets in hopes of improving their position for bids to the upcoming NCAA Championships.
