NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Four members of the Carleton College women's golf team were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team for 2025-26. Recent graduates

Carter Sichol '26, and
Sarah Zheng '26 collected their third CSC awards while
Anna Lee '28 made her debut on the academic squad.
CSC's Academic All-District and Academic All-America program annually honors student-athletes who have succeeded at the highest level in competition and in the classroom. The 10 eligible sports for women's at-large consideration include: beach volleyball, bowling, crew/rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo, and wrestling.
To be nominated for the Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 on a scale of 4.00; must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing; and must meet sport-specific benchmarks regarding athletic participation. For golf, student-athletes must have competed in at least 75 percent of an institution's team scoring events or be in the lineup at the conference championship.
Lua, a computer science and studio art double major, played in all nine tournaments for the Knights and posted a 78.4 scoring average for the second consecutive season. She had four top-10 finishes, including a victory at the Northfield Open in April. Lu collected All-MIAC First-Team recognition for the fourth time and helped the Knights earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships where Carleton finished 11th as a team as she was 74th in the 176-player field.
Sichol, a psychology major, was the 2026 NCAA Individual Champion and earned WGCA All-America recognition for the third time and All-Region status for the fourth consecutive year. She was the winner at two other tournaments on the season, including the 2025 MIAC Championships where Sichol broke the conference championships' 18, 36, and 54-hole scoring records and MIAC Golfer of the Year honors. She finished the year with a 73.0 scoring average thanks to nine rounds at par of better.
Like her classmates, Zheng, a statistics major, earned All-MIAC First Team recognition for the fourth time. She posted a 78.3 scoring average and had four top-10 finishes among her nine tournaments, including an eighth-place showing at the MIAC Championships. Zheng tied for 67th place at the NCAA Championships.
Lee, a chemistry major, missed the MIAC Championships was named to her second straight All-Conference squad for her play throughout the season. She posted a 78.0 scoring average to rank third on the roster, thanks in part to a victory at the Carleton/St. Kate's Final Fling. Lee concluded the year by tying for 49th at the NCAA Championships
Sichol and Lee were selected to advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in July.
