NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Two members of the Carleton College mmen's golf team were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® At-Large Team for 2025-26. Recent graduate Gordon Walker '26 took home his third CSC award while Justin Rodriguez '27 earned his second straight honor.
 
CSC's Academic All-District and Academic All-America program annually honors student-athletes who have succeeded at the highest level in competition and in the classroom. The 10 eligible sports for men's at-large consideration include: fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and wrestling.
 
To be nominated for the Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 on a scale of 4.00; must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing; and must meet sport-specific benchmarks regarding athletic participation. For golf, student-athletes must have competed in at least 75 percent of an institution's team scoring events or be in the lineup at the conference championship.
 
Walker, an economics major, had a 74.0 scoring average as he paced the Knights with five top-10 finishes including four top-5 results across the team's nine tournaments. He picked up his first career All-MIAC award thanks to a fifth-place finish at the MIAC Championships.
 
Rodriguez also played in all nine events and tallied a 73.8 scoring average. He secured his second consecutive All-Conference nod in recognition for his play throughout the 2025-26 season, including a trio of top-10 results.
