HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Carleton College junior Sam Higaki continues to reset the standard for the Knights as he collected his third consecutive NCAA Division III PING All-Region Award.
 
Higaki is 1 of 15 players tabbed for the 2026 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Region VI Team, but only five of those players are repeat selection from last spring.
 
A total of 114 players throughout the country garnered All-Region status in 2026, and Higaki is 1 of only 12 to take home the award each of the last three years.
 
Higaki was second among MIAC players with a 72.96 scoring average and finished the regular season ranked No. 50 in the nation as he had two tournament victories, taking medalist honors at the Saint John's Fall Invitational and the Gustavus Triangular.
