NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College men's golf team tied with St. Olaf College in the annual Rusty Putter Match. The match-play competition was held on Saturday afternoon at Northfield Golf Club.
 
The competition included one singles match and three two-on-two matchups, each consisting of three six-hole matches.
 
Match 1: holes 1-6, scramble match play
Match 2: holes 7-12, shamble best ball match play
Match 3: holes 13-18, alternate shot match play
 
Former Carleton head coach Jerry Erickson was given the "Rusty Putter" many years ago at Prestwick Golf Course in Scotland. It became the traveling trophy for the yearly matchup between the two schools.
