NEW ORLEANS – Four members of the Carleton College outdoor track & field programs earned All-Region recognition from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season. Reese Anderson, Amelia Campbell, Hannah Preisser, and Lauren Tittel combined for six total awards by being among the top performers in the North Region.
 
The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists earned USTFCCCA All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams.
 
Anderson picked up his first career All-Region award as he ranked fourth in the North Region in the javelin throw. He measured a personal-best 55.18 during the MIAC Decathlon.
 
Campbell also secured her first All-Region honor by ranking seventh in the region for the 3000-meter steeplechase after she posted a time of 11:13.21 at the Joe Sweeney Invitational.
 
Preisser now owns 13 career All-Region Awards (see chart below) after ranking fourth in the 10,000-meter run and eighth in the 5,000-meter run. She clocked a time of 35:30.60 for the 10K while besting the competition by more than a minute at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. Preisser posted a personal-best time of 16:58.61 in the 5K at the UW-Platteville Invitational.
 
Preisser went on to earn Second Team All-America recognition after placing 14th in the 10K at the NCAA Championships. In the process, she established a new personal best time of 35:19.40.
 
Tittel, who earned a pair of All-Region awards during the indoor season, doubled her collection with recognition for both the outdoor 800-meter and 1500-meter runs. She ranked sixth at both distances, clocking 2:12.40 as the runner up in the 800-meter race at the MIAC Championships and 4:31.48 for the 1500-meter run at the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier.
