LA CROSSE, Wis. – Carleton College first-year Lauren Tittel raced the 1500-meter run at the UW-La Cross Final Qualifier on Thursday.
 
She finished fourth overall at 4:31.48. That time was not only a personal best by more than three seconds, but it also moved her into the No. 2 slot in team history. She ranks No. 33 in the nation.

The field for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be announced on Friday, May 15 via a press release on NCAA.com. It is expected that Tittel's teammate, Hannah Preisser, will be among the entries for the 10,000-meter run at the NCAA Championships on Thursday, May 21.
