BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College first-year Giana Marks picked up her second consecutive MIAC Women's Tennis Player of the Week award.
 
Marks picked up victories in both singles and doubles play as the Knights defeated Winona State University, a NCAA Division II program, on Feb. 21. She started the day by teaming with Ryann Witter to secure a 6-0 victory over the Warriors' top tandem. Marks closed the competition by rallying from a set down to notch a 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 10-3 victory at No. 1 singles.
 
The Knights next match will be against another NCAA Division II program, Minnesota State Mankato, on Saturday, Feb. 28.
