BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. – The Carleton College men's golf team defeated Saint John's University by a score of 5-0 in match-play competition held at Edinburgh Golf Club.
Both teams received votes in the Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches preseason top-25 poll.

Carleton will play at the SJU Fall Invite on Sept. 20-21. The first round will be held at St. Cloud Country Club, with the final round contested at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club in Sartell, Minn.
