Women's Basketball recognized by WBCA for academic success

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Carleton College women's basketball program received "special mention" as the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its annual academic award honorees. The Knights posted a cumulative 3.549 team grade-point average during the 2024-25 academic year.

"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew.

This is the 30th year that the WBCA celebrated college women's basketball teams that carried the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the entire season. Member programs that posted a combined grade-point average of 3.0 or higher were recognized.
