Addy Huss voted to All-MIAC team

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Carleton College first-year guard Addy Huss was named to the All-MIAC Women's Basketball team as the conference coaches handed out their end-of-season awards. She is the eighth rookie in program history to earn some level of All-MIAC recognition and the fifth to be selected to the first team.

A total of 18 players took home All-MIAC First Team distinction for the 2024-25 campaign, and Huss joins Brianna Nusbaum of Saint Mary's and Ava Haus of St. Scholastica as the only first-years named to that exclusive group. Another rookie, Rylie Sternquist of Saint Mary's, received All-MIAC Honorable Mention. Conference coaches had selected only three total rookies to the All-MIAC First Team over the previous three seasons combined.

Huss is the first Carleton rookie to be voted to the All-MIAC First Team since Hannah Oken-Berg following the 2005-06 campaign. The last Knight rookie to collect all-conference recognition of any kind was Samantha Cooke, who received honorable mention for 2016-17.

Huss started all 25 games for the Knights and paced the roster with 13.36 points and 7.52 rebounds per game, 2.56 assists per game, and 2.04 steals per game. She scored in double digits in 20 of her 25 games and tallied at least 20 points on two occasions.

She was the only player in the MIAC to average more than 10.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 steals during the regular season.

Among conference players this season, Huss ranked second in both minutes played per game (33.8) and steals, sixth in rebounding, 11th in scoring and field goal percentage (.473), and 12th in assists. Among MIAC rookies, she was third in points; second in rebounds, assists, and steals; and fourth in field goal percentage and 3-point percentage.
