NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Five members of the Carleton College women's track & field team competed at the Ole Open.
Claire Miyoshi was the runner-up in the triple jump after her top performance measure 9.85 meters.
Parker Collins took fifth at 9.47 meters. That duo also competed in the long jump, where Miysohi finished eighth (4.76 meters) and Collins was 13th at 4.23 meters.
Alice Islam finished third in the high jump after clearing 1.48 meters, the second-highest height of her outdoor season.
Willa Bishop took fourth in the javelin with a toss of 29.93 meters, while her best effort in the discus measured 29.80 meters — second-best of her rookie season — and placed her 15th.
Madeleine Reckmeyer posted a new PR of 5:02.13 in the 1500-meter run, finishing 12th out of 34 entrants.

Carleton heads to the MIAC Outdoor Championships, which will be hosted by Macalester College on May 9-10. Competition in the field events begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, with action on the track starting 30 minutes later. Saturday's events get under way at 12:00 p.m. with field events, while racing on the track starting at 1:30 p.m.
