Six Knights compete at Meet of the UnSaintly

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Six members of the Carleton College women's track & field team raced at the Meet of the UnSaintly hosted by Hamline University on Wednesday.
 
Charlotte Kusch placed ninth overall and Madeleine Reckmeyer finished 20th in the 800-meter run. The former crossed the line at 2:20.09, while the latter posted a PR of 2:27.29. The event included 47 runners, including two from NCAA Division I teams and 13 from D-II squads.
 
The other four Knights raced in the 1500-meter run. Sophie McManus established a new personal best of 4:39.91 as she finished seventh overall in a field that included nine D-I racers and another five from Division II programs. Lara Erickson placed 20th with a time of 4:55.32, Maggie Votruba took 31st with a PR of 5:16.26, and Celia Lehmann Duke finished 38th at 5:59.66.
 
Up Next for the Knights
Stephanie Baranov will represent Carleton as the Knights host the 18-person MIAC Heptathlon on May 1-2. The first event begins at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
