SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Two members of the Carleton College men's track & field team took advantage of Spring Break to compete at the Westmont Collegiate Classic on Saturday.
Daniel Scheider set PRs in both of his races. He was the top Division III finisher in the 400-meter dash and finished second overall with a time of 49.70. He then took fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.92.
Josh Meier placed fifth out of 40 racers in the 800-meter run, crossing the line at 1:56.53. He established a new PR in the 200-meter dash, finishing at 23.60.
The two Knights finished seventh in the team competition.
Up Next for the Knights
The full Carleton squad is slated to compete at the Hamline Invitational on April 5.
