NEW ORLEANS – Five members of the Carleton College women's indoor track & field program collected All-Region awards from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
 
Hannah Preisser received her sixth and seventh career All-Region awards after ranking with the North Region's top-5 in both the 3000-meter and 5000-meter runs. Libby Rowland, Hadley Twichell, Celia Silverstein, and Kayla Marx took home All-Region recognition after being among the region's top-3 distance medley relay teams. For Rowland, this is her fourth career All-Region honor, while the other three Knights earned All-Region status for the first time.
 
Preisser ranked third in the region after winning the 3000-meter race at the MIAC Indoor Championships with a time of 9:54.60. Her 5K time of 17:00.01 at the Maverick Premier #2 meet also ranked third in the North Region.
 
The Knights' distance medley relay was third in the region after the quartet clocked a time of 12:31.06 while finishing second at the MIAC Championships.
 
Preisser will race the 5,000-meter at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, March 14. That race is slated to start at 4:10 p.m. CDT / 5:10 p.m. EDT
