NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton College point guard
Addy Huss was 1 of 5 women's basketball players selected to the D3hoops.com National Team of the Week for Nov. 17-23.
This is the seventh time overall that a member of Carleton women's basketball program was selected to the Team of the Week (see chart below). Huss is the first guard to collect the honor.
Huss scored a career-best 35 points on Nov. 19 during the Knights' game against Bethany Lutheran College. That accounted for half of Carleton's scoring in the contest and was the second-highest total by a MIAC player over the last four seasons.
Huss' 35-point effort tied for the second-highest total in recorded program history and was the most by a Knight since 1992. Huss made 13-for-20 shots (65 percent) and collected nine rebounds, narrowly missing a fourth consecutive double-double to start the season.
She leads the MIAC in scoring this season at 21.8 points per game and is second in the conference with 11.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest.
