Addy Huss scores third straight MIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week Award

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Addy Huss continued her scorching start to the season with a third consecutive MIAC Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week Award.

Huss tallied a game-high 28 points and scored all 12 fourth-quarter points for the Knights, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 21 seconds left as Carleton erased a late deficit for a 68-67 win at Buena Vista University on Nov. 25. Huss, who notched her third consecutive game of at least 20 points, was 12-of-20 (60 percent) from the floor and 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.

According to the MIAC website, Huss is the first women's basketball player to collect three consecutive MIAC athlete of the week honors since at least the 2003-04 campaign. The only MIAC men's basketball player to achieve the feat over that time is Macalester's Badou Ba, who won three straight men's defensive player of the week honors during the 2022-23 season.

Huss paces the MIAC in scoring this season at 23.0 points per game, is third with 10.6 rebounds per game, and is tied for fourth at 4.2 assists per game.

The Knights open MIAC play with a 7:00 p.m. tipoff on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Saint Mary's University.
