Box Score MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Carleton College women's tennis team concluded the fall portion of the 2024-25 competition schedule with a 9-0 victory over Concordia College-Moorhead. All 11 players on the roster figured in victories, with
Ingrid Smith helping the Knights to wins in both singles and doubles.
With the win, the Knights improve to 3-0 this season and 2-0 against MIAC foes, extending their regular-season conference win streak to 25 matches and the overall streak to 31 consecutive wins against MIAC opponents.
Mariam Nechiporuk and
Ryann Witter teamed up for the first time and blanked their opponents at No. 1 doubles, 8-0. Seniors
Ingrid Smith and
Amanda Black paired up for the first time in two years and secured an 8-2 win at the second slot.
Clara Mast and
Kat Smiricinschi completed the doubles sweep with an 8-3 triumph at the third spot.
Amelia Asfaw cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win atop the singles lineup, improving to 41-2 all-time in dual match solo play.
Miriam Shteyman picked up her first singles victory of the year, recording a 6-1, 6-1 result at No. 2 singles.
Sophomore
Kiley Pickens moved to 18-0 in singles play at Carleton after prevailing 6-1, 6-0 at the third spot in the lineup.
Zoe Rose is now 21-2 all-time in dual match singles competition after her 6-0, 6-0 win at the fourth slot.
Piper Brown continued her unblemished collegiate singles ledger (14-0 overall in dual matches) after securing a 6-0, 6-0 result at No. 5 singles. Smith, the fifth senior in the Sunday's singles lineup, improved to 16-2 in singles dual matches over the last three seasons with her 6-2, 6-0 victory at the sixth spot.
