NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton College first-year Emma Trojan finished 14th in at the MIAC Heptathlon. She totaled 2,957 points over the two-day, seven-event competition.
 
Trojan was 15th after accumulating 1,896 points on the first day. She started Friday by measuring a personal-best 3.97 meters in the long jump (301 points) before earning 200 points thanks to a 15.19-meter heave in the javelin. She concluded the competition with a time of 2:41.12 (560 points) in the 800-meter run.
 
AnnaGrace Nelson of Bethel won the MIAC Heptathlon with a score of 4,264 points.

Carleton will send a couple competitors to the Ole Open, the final tune up before next weekend's MIAC Outdoor Championships.
