Mary Blanchard and junior
Lara Erickson had runner up results as the Carleton College women's track & field team competed at the Janis Rider/Doug Bolstorff Invitational hosted by Macalester College. The Knight totaled eight other individual top-10 results in addition to a pair of top-5 relays at the 17-team meet.

Blanchard competed in the 400-meter dash for the first time in college and finished second overall, crossing the line at 59.78.
Hadley Twichell took eighth at 1:02.48, while
Alice Cutter was 10th at 1:02.89.

Erickson finished second in the 800-meter run, posting a time of 2:18.58.

Riley Roberts earned fifth place in the 100-meter dash thanks to a time of 13.02. She also took fourth in the 200-meter dash, clocking a personal-best time of 26.60.
Bianca Lott added an eight-place result for the 200-meter distance with a new PR of 27.42.

Emma Trojan tied for fifth in the high jump after clearing 1.35 meters.

Libby Rowland placed sixth in the 400-meter hurdles, establishing a new personal record at 1:09.60.

Nora Daley placed ninth in the 1500-meter run, clocking a personal-best time of 5:05.47.

The Knights' 4x100 relay–comprised of Twichell, Roberts, Lott, and
Michelle Musa–combined on a time of 50.73, good for fourth place. In the 4x400 relay, Blanchard, Roberts, Twichell, and Erickson combined on a time of 4:09.80, earning second place.
