Gabe Nichols and
Roy Llewellyn finished 1-2 in the 5,000-meter run at the Bethel Invitational. That was 1 of 2 event victories for the Carleton College men's track & field at the unscored co-ed meet, which included 16 collegiate teams.

Nichols posted a personal-best time of 14:40.03, while Llewellyn also clocked a new PR (14:48.39).
Indy Lyness finished fourth in the same event, crossing the line at 15:27.09.
Andrew Jamison finished 10th at 16:38.20.

Ian Mortensen started his day off with a bang, establishing a new meet record and registering a season-best distance of 55.55 meters en route to winning the javelin throw.

Allistair Pattison (49.99),
Josh Meier (50.85), and
Ethan Ash (50.89) each posted top-10 finishers in the 400-meter dash as they placed fifth, seventh, and eighth, respectively, out of 44 racers.

Soren Kaster started his day with a new PR in the pole vault, clearing 4.38 meters to finish in fifth place. He later clocked a person-best time of 57.10 as he placed fourth in the 400-meter hurdles.

Ethan Cline-Cole placed 10th in the triple jump after bounding 12.18 meters on his final attempt, and
Liam Sullivan measured a personal-best of 31.74 meters in the discus.

Carleton concluded the day by placing fifth in the 4x400-meter relay after
Asher Nathan, Meier, Pattison, and Ash clocked a time of 3:23.40.
