MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Buoyed by a pair of runner-up results, the Carleton College men's swimming & diving team moved into third place on Day 2 of the MIAC Championships.
The Knights had five scorers in the 500-yard freestyle. Senior
Sam Glaubitz led the way with a fifth-place showing of 4:33.33, earning him all-conference honorable mention.
A trio of Knights led the pack in the "B" final, taking ninth, 10th, and 11th places.
Sean Smith finished the event in 4:50.43,
Mathew Krogman touched the wall in 4:50.94, and
John Rosseel covered the distance in 4:51.00. Lastly, rounding out the scoring for Carleton in the event was
Warren Kozak's 14th-place finish, completing the event in 4:54.73.
in the 200-yard individual medley,
Ethan Tun excelled for the Knights as he was the runner-up with a time of 1:52.98, earning him another All-MIAC award.
Alex Lee continued the scoring for Carleton in this event, coming in 9th place with a time of 1:57.44.
Jeffrey Kong took 15th place with a time of 2:02.80.
In the 50-yard freestyle,
Josh Wu led the Knights with a ninth-place finish, completing the event in 21.50.
Noah Lee also scored for Carleton, taking 16th place with a time of 22.25.
The evening concluded with the 400-yard medley relay, Carleton saw another second-place result as the quartet of Tun, Wu,
Jackson Rankin, and
Ian Scott earned All-MIAC status and posted a time of 3:26.96.

Day 3 of the conference meet features a busy schedule as they action includes the 400 IM, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, 1-meter diving, and the 200 freestyle relay.
