ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Carleton College men's track & field team sent two student-athletes to compete at the Tomcat Invitational hosted by the University of St. Thomas.
Both
Reese Anderson (Fy./Frontenac, Minn./Lake City) and
Ian Mortensen (Jr./Seattle, Wash./Shorecrest) lined up for the 1500-meter run. The former took part in the event for the first time in his collegiate career and finished in 4:24.21. The latter, working his way back from injury, competed for the first time in seven weeks and clocked a time of 5:06.40 as he continued preparations for the MIAC Decathlon in early May.
Anderson also elected to race in the 100-meter dash, clocking a time of 11.97.

Carleton is slated to have its entire team compete at the Bethel Invite on Saturday April 15 in Arden Hills, Minn.
