BLOOMINGTON, Minn – Carleton College senior Anderson Murphy (Coral Gables, Fla./Ransom Everglades) was named the MIAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week for the week of April 10-17.
 
Murphy earned medalist honors at the Howl at the Hill tournament hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan on 4/16-17. Murphy carded a 74 in the first round and followed that up with a 77 in the final round for a 36-hole total of 151 (+7). This was the second tournament victory of his career and first since September 2019. With Murphy leading the way, Carleton topped the 10-team field by eight shots, giving the Knights their first tournament triumph also since September 2019.
