NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College men's swimming & diving team won 12 events on the way to a 187-106 dual meet victory over visiting Macalester College.
Ethan Tun won three individual events in addition to racing on a victorious relay.
Tun was first to the wall in the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke races with times of 59.84 and 2:13.28. He along with
Nicholas Chang and
Alex Lee led the way in the 200-yard IM with a 1-2-3 finish. They covered the distance in 2:01.44, 2:04.32, and 2:07.42, respectively.
Carleton started the day with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay as Chang, Tun,
Jackson Rankin, and
Noah Lee combined on a winning time of 1:39.13.
Ian Scott prevailed in the 200-yard freestyle, covering the distance in 1:48.19.
Chang won a pair of solo events, taking first in both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke events by posting times of 54.90 and 1:58.08, respectively.
Rankin,
Aiden Johnson, and
Sean Smith finished 1-2-3 in the 200-yard butterfly with times of 2:00.79, 2:00.96, and 2:05.82, respectively. Rankin later added another individual victory with a time of 53.33 in the 100-yard butterfly.
Hans Anderson prevailed in the 1-meter diving competition with a score of 254.55 and notched the top score in the 3-meter competition (238.10) as well.
Sam Glaubitz won a close battle in the 500-yard freestyle, reaching the wall first with a time of 5:01.63.

Carleton will take part in the 18th annual Ted Mullin "Hour of Power for Sarcoma Research" Relay Event at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18. The Knights will swim at Thorpe Pool and be joined by teams across the country in this special event.
