ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Carleton College men's swimming & diving team won six events and had a trio of second-place finishes at the Hamline Relays, the first competitive meet of the year. The Knights totaled 656 points to pull away from rival St. Olaf (490) and Hamline (132).
In the 3x366 yard relay (200fly, 400 IM, 500 free), Carleton's 'B' entry of
Warren Kozak,
Matthew Krogman,
Sam Glaubitz was first to touch the wall at 11:46.78.
Ethan Tun,
Nicholas Chang,
Sean Smith, and
Josh Wu combined on a winning time of 3:43.91 in the 4x100 IM relay.
The 200-yard freestyle relay saw Carleton edge St. Olaf for first place. Kozak, Krogman,
John Rosseel, and
Charlie Ruppe posted a time of 1:34.73.
In the 6x50 yard relay (50-50-100-100 fly), a winning time of 2:39.84 was turned in by Wu, Smith, and Kozak.
The 6x50 yard relay (50-50-100-100 back) saw Tun,
Jackson Rankin, and
Ian Scott work together to post a first-place time of 2:41.15.
In the 6x50 yard relay (50-50-100-100 breast), the trio of Wu,
Aaron Bronstone, and
Jeffrey Kong touched the wall first at 3:04.37.

Carleton and St. Olaf will co-host the Cows, Colleges & Contentment Classic on Saturday, Oct. 28. Swimming events will be held at Northfield Middle School, while diving will take place at Carleton's Thorpe Pool.
