GENEVA, Ohio – Carleton College senior Stephen Lavey (Cedar Grove, Wis./Cedar Grove-Belgium) wrapped up his senior year by competing in the 10,000-meter run at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
 
Lavey was the lone MIAC racer in the event and posted a time of 32:14.9 as he finished 18th out of 20 entrants in the 10K field.
 
Alex Phillip of John Carroll University won the event with a time of 30:02.53.
 
This race marked Lavey's fourth career trip to the national championships, having previously qualified twice in cross country as well as the 2022 indoor 5,000-meter run.
