The PEAR Department is taking this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the seniors on our spring sports teams. While we are sad that we were unable to watch them compete this season, we are excited about what the future holds for each of them. Keep checking back in the coming weeks as we take the time to highlight each of these individuals. Click here for our Senior Spotlight archive.

History
Â
What are your plans after graduation?    Â
I don't have any concrete plans yet, but I will be heading home to Pittsburgh in the meantime to spend time with my cats.
Â
What was your favorite sports moment at Carleton?     Â
My favorite sports moment at Carleton was winning the Rusty Putter for Coach freshman year.
Â
Why did you choose Carleton?     Â
I chose Carleton because the weather was nice when I visited in April, and because I had the good fortune of sitting next to Bill North for dinner.
Â
Outside of athletics, what will you miss most about Carleton? Â
I will miss my fellow students and, perhaps surprisingly, the dining hall.
Â
What else has your Carleton experience included?        Â
I went on the architectural studies OCS program my sophomore year, and last year I worked as a student research assistant for Jake Morton (Classics) in the mountains of Greece.
Â
What is one piece of advice you would give to prospective student-athletes? Â Â
Work hard, but enjoy every moment.
Â
What is a favorite memory you have of your head coach?
I have too many good memories to count, but if I had to choose one, my favorite memory of Coach has to be co-piloting the van on our spring break trip to Arizona.
Â
Quote from Coach Jerry Erickson:
"
Gabe Nass is mature beyond his years, and over the past four years we have become more friends than coach and player. I will miss our coffee times as much as his scores in the 70s."
