KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2024-25 Carleton College men's basketball team took home the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 12th consecutive year. The three upperclassmen on the roster were named to the NABC Honors Court for their individual work in the classroom.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
The Knights easily exceeded the team threshold by putting together a combined 3.47 GPA during the season. Carleton is 1 of 2 MIAC programs to capture the accolade each of the last 10 seasons.
Earning individual accolades were
Luke Harris '25,
Spencer Goetz '26, and
Gabe Cummings '26. Goetz and Harris received individual recognition for the second consecutive year.
