Luke Harris picks up third Academic All-District Award from CSC

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton College guard Luke Harris collected his third career Academic All-District® from the College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Each school can nominate a select number of student-athletes that meet the following criteria:
• at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
• at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
• compete in at least 90 percent of the institution's games or start at least 66 percent of the contests.

A committee of CSC members selected Harris for advancement to the Academic All-America® ballot where first-, second-, and third-team honorees will be announced in mid-April following voting by CSC members.

Harris received Academic All-District recognition in both 2023 and 2024 and was also voted to the Academic All-America® Third Team in 2024.

He led the MIAC in scoring for each of the last two seasons and averaged 19.2 points per game during the 2024-25 campaign to go along with 4.46 rebounds, 2.67 assists, and 1.39 steals. Harris earned All-Region awards from both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and D3hoops.com for the second consecutive season as he was 1 of only 5 players across NCAA D-III to average better than 19.0 points, 4.25 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.25 steals while shooting at least .400 from 3-point range.

Carleton went 75-30 (.714) over his four seasons, including four trips to the MIAC Playoffs, the MIAC regular season and postseason titles in 2023, and a NCAA Championships berth in 2023. The Knights entered this past season with only four players that had previous collegiate playing experience, one of whom sustained a season-ending injury after only eight games. Harris helped lead the team to an 18-10 record and a berth in the finals of the MIAC Playoffs.

A three-time All-MIAC first teamer, Harris concluded his collegiate playing career with 1,800 career points (fourth in team history), 510 rebounds, 327 assists (fifth in team history), and 133 steals (12th in team history).
