BLOOMINGTON, Minn – Carleton College junior Amelia Asfaw was named the MIAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for the week of March 25-31. This is her second career conference weekly award.
 
Asfaw won at the No. 1 singles and doubles spots in the Knights' victory over St. Catherine on March 30. Following an 8-3 triumph atop the doubles lineup, Asfaw beat Kelsey Dorr—the reigning MIAC Singles Player of the Year—by a 6-3, 6-0 tally at No. 1 singles.

Asfaw is undefeated in both singles (6-0) and doubles (5-0) play this season for the No. 34-ranked Knights.
