SARTELL, Minn. – The Carleton College women's golf team, ranked No. 21 in the preseason WGCA national poll, won the season-opening CSB Invite held at Blackberry Ridge Golf Club. Sophomore
Carter Sichol was the tournament's medalist for the second consecutive year as she registered her third career individual victory.

Carleton posted team scores of 299 and 301 and finished eight strokes clear of runner-up and No. 8-ranked St. Catherine University. No. 23 Bethel University and Gustavus Adolphus College, which received votes in the preseason WGCA poll, were also among the 11 schools to participate at this year's event.
Sichol carded a 74 in the first round and a 72 in Sunday's final round to finish the tournament with a two-over-par 146, good for a one-stroke margin of victory.
Natalie Tatar (77-73-150) and
Cynthia Lu (70-80=150) tied at six-over par, while
Sarah Zheng (80-76-=156) concluded the weekend at 12-over par.
Olivia Siebert (78-81=159) contributed to the team score on Saturday and finished at 15-over.
Ximiao Zhai (87-78=165, +21) and
Taylor Kang (81-86=167, +23) were individual entrants.
