Jeremy Beckler picked for D3hoops.com All-America Team

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Carleton College forward Jeremy Beckler (Sr./Lino Lakes, Minn./White Bear Lake) added his name to another elite list as he was selected for the D3hoops.com All-America Team. Beckler is the eighth player in the program's 114-year history to pick up All-America recognition and the third to do so over the last six years.

The D3hoops.com All-America list includes 25 players, divided up with five players apiece landing on the first through fifth teams. A total of 16 guards and nine frontcourt players were honored.

This is the latest in a long list of accolades that Beckler has collected over the last month:
• All-MIAC First Team (third all-conference award in his career)
• D3hoops.com All-Region First Team (second All-Region award in his career)
• NABC All-District First Team (second All-District award in his career)
• Jostens Trophy finalist (1 of 10 in the country)
• NABC Division III All-Star Game participant (1 of 18 players)
• D3hoops.com All-America Fourth Team

Beckler averaged 22.2 points per game this season, which ranked him 11th in the nation overall and as the top scoring frontcourt player on the D3hoops.com All-America list. This season, he was the only player in Division III to average more than 20.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game while shooting at least .500 overall, .400 from 3-point range, and .800 at the free throw line.

He scored in double digits in 27 of 28 games, tallying at least 20 points an impressive 17 times and surpassing the 30-point plateau on six occasions. He wrapped up his career eighth on Carleton's all-time scoring list with 1,438 total points, despite playing only three seasons (due to the Knights not competing during the pandemic-affected 2020-21 academic year). A total of 17 D-III active players have scored at least 1,400 career points, and Beckler's total of 76 games is fourth-fewest on that list.

A productive inside-outside threat, Beckler made a team-high 62 triples to rank 16th among non-guards in NCAA Division III. He shot .516 from the floor during the 2022-23 campaign, including a .413 clip from 3-point range. His name can also be found on the national leaderboard for 3-pointers per game (2.21), field-goal percentage, and free throw percentage (.811).

He was obviously a key component in what became arguably, the best season in program history. The Knights went 24-4, won the MIAC's regular-season and playoff titles, set a school record for victories, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third time.

Beckler was joined in receiving D3hoops All-America recognition by fellow MIAC star Raheem Anthony of Saint Mary's University.
