KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 2025-26 Carleton College men's basketball team took home the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award for the 13th consecutive year. Upperclassmen
Sam Koelling '27 and
Patrick Smith '27 were named to the NABC Honors Court for their individual work in the classroom.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Carleton is 1 of 2 MIAC programs to boast an active streak of more than 10 consecutive NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards.
