BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Thanks to standout performances in all three facets of the game during the Knights' comeback victory on Saturday, the Carleton College football team swept the MIAC Offensive, Defensive, and Special Teams Players of the Week Awards.

Carleton is 4-0 on the season following their 36-35 win at Concordia on September 30. The Knights faced a 14-point deficit with 7:24 remaining and scored on back-to-back possessions, including a two-point conversion to win the game.

Nathan Streiff earned his first career MIAC Offensive Player of the Week Award following his performance and set a Carleton single-game record with 17 receptions in the victory. His 17 catches are not only a new school record but also the most in D-III this year and tied for most across all NCAA Divisions this fall. The junior receiver totaled career-best with three touchdowns and 190 receiving yards – tied for ninth in recorded team history. Streiff has 100+ receiving yards and 1+ touchdown catches in all four games this season.

Senior Isaac Simons was named MIAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in his career. The linebacker collected 11 tackles (eight solo) and hauled in an interception in the victory. He was the only player in the MIAC last week to finish with double-digit tackles and have an interception. Simons' interception came in Carleton territory and led to a Knights' touchdown.

Luis Miranda was recognized for his play on Saturday and earned the honor of MIAC Special Teams Player of the Week for the first time in his career. Miranda blocked a punt that sparked the Knights' comeback victory. The key special teams play set up the first of two fourth-quarter touchdowns for the Knights. Miranda and the rest of the Carleton punt coverage team allowed just 1.4 yards per return.

This trio of Knights are the fourth, fifth and six members of Carleton football to be honored this season, joining kicker/punter Marcus Merkelbach (Sept. 23), quarterback Jack Curtis (Sept. 18) and defensive back Henry Detmer (Sept. 11).
