Knights win 12 events, get best of St. Ben's

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Carleton College women's swimming & diving team won 12 of 16 events as the Knights secured a 185-115 dual meet triumph over College of Saint Benedict.

"What an incredible meet today from both Carleton squads," said Carleton head coach Andy Clark. "I could not be more impressed with the collective effort and energy that both Carleton teams produced and gave today. Coming into this meet, we knew we would be facing two very competitive programs, and to have a chance at a win, we would need every team member to contribute. The Carleton squads definitely rose to the challenge and delivered in every event."

Maddie Damberg-Ott (Sr./London, Great Britain/Channing School), Elizabeth Chatard (So./San Anselmo, Calif./Sir Francis Drake), Isabelle Riley (So./Singapore/Singapore American School), and Zoe Morton (Fy./Chicago, Ill./Univ. of Chicago Laboratory School) got the Knights off to a strong start with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay.
