Box Score ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Carleton College women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season after registering a 9-0 victory over host Hamline University. A near sweep of the three doubles matches was almost matched by the Knights' spectacular play in singles action.

Sophomores
Ingrid Smith (Edina, Minn./Edina) and
Amanda Black (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville) picked up an 8-0 triumph in their first career match atop the lineup. Classmates

Rose, who did not appear in a match during the 2021-22 regular season, improved to 2-0 this fall as she added a 6-1, 6-3 victory at the second spot.
Brown was leading her match at No. 4 singles before her opponent retired.
"I was proud of our performance today," said Burton. "The team brought the type of energy usually reserved for a five-year old after eating a bag of Halloween candy."
