ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Carleton College women's swimming & diving team finished third out of four teams competing at the Hamline Relay Mett.
Maddie Damberg-Ott (Sr./London, Great Britain/Channing School),
Elizabeth Chatard (So./San Anselmo, Calif./Sir Francis Drake),
Sophie Baggett (Sr./La Crosse, Wis./Logan), and
Zoe Morton (Fy./Chicago, Ill./Univ. of Chicago Laboratory School) won the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:54.19. The Knights finished second in the other seven relay events.
Caroline Crampton (So./Plymouth, Mass./Sturgis),
Julia Luljak (Sr./Baltimore, Md./Park School), and
Stephanie Baranov (Fy./Streamwood, Ill./Hoffman Estates) clocked a time of 13:27.71 in the 3x366 Animal Medley Relay.
Damberg-Ott,
Jenna Drummond (So./East Greenbush, N.Y./Emma Willard), Morton, and
Ashley Rosenberg (So./Chicago, Ill./Latin School of Chicago) were the runner ups in the 400-yard medley relay (4:24.97).
Morton combined with
Raine Bernhard (Sr./Champaign, Ill./University),
Eleanor Hebard (Fy./Bremerton, Wash./Central Kitsap), and
Sammi Sheridan (Jr./Madison, Wis./Memorial) on a time of 1:46.19 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Lily Wong (Fy./Madison, Wis./Madison West), Baggett, Crampton, and
Isabelle Riley (So./Singapore/Singapore American School) touched the wall in the 300-yard butterfly relay with a combined time of 3:08.53.
The 300-yard backstroke relay saw Baranov, Damberg-Ott, Wong, and Sheridan collaborate on a time of 3:04.93.
Morton, Luljak,
Aviva Sachs (Fy./Newton, Mass./Newton North), and Chatard posted a time of 3:37.66 for the 300-yard breaststroke relay.
The meet concluded with Baggett, Branov, Bernhard, and Sheridan posting a time of 3:55.01 in the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Carleton will compete at the Cows, Colleges and Contentment Classic on Saturday, Oct. 29. Swimming events will be held at St. Olaf's Skoglund Center Natatorium, while the diving competition will be held at Carleton's Thorpe Pool.
