ST. PAUL, Minn.—Kayla Kramer (Jr./Clearwater, Minn./Monticello) tallied tallied a career-high 11 points, but host University of St. Thomas uses two, big, first-half runs to hold Carleton College at bay, 79-57.
Akemi Arzouman (So./Irvine, Calif./University) also added 11 points and Ally Weaver (Sr./Iowa City, Iowa/West) tallied 10 points, moving her alone into eighth place on Carleton’s all-time scoring list at 1,045 points.
Sarah Smith paced St. Thomas (17-5, 16-3 MIAC) with 17 points while Taylor Young added 13 and Rachel Booth tallied 10. The Tommies shot 50.8 percent for the game and forced 16 Carleton turnovers while turning over only eight times themselves.
